Although life is too short to safely remove a USB device, there are situations in which the stored data is too important to risk it. Dev Eject lets you view all removable devices that are connected to your computer and it places various possibilities at your disposal. As the application's name suggests, you can eject any connected device from the same user interface. Everything can be done on the fly, in just a few seconds.

The application is absolutely free. It is compatible with all modern Windows versions and it can be installed in just a few seconds. There are no special requirements you have to meet and you don't need to sacrifice too many resources.

Dev Eject is simple and straightforward. Connected devices are displayed in a list, on the application's compact user interface. You can select individual devices and click one of the buttons, on the right side of the window, to eject or unplug the devices, view their locks and to refresh the list. Re-plugging devices is another possibilities.

The application can be set to open volumes or safely remove or unmount them when you double click them on the interface and you can also enable error reporting, hang detection and other simple features.

Regardless of how many devices you have connected to your computer, you can remove all of them with just a few clicks, thanks to Dev Eject's efficient functionality.

Pros

You can view all connected devices on a single window. The application lets you remove them immediately, with a single click. Dev Eject is lightweight and it can be installed almost instantly.

Cons

There are no serious issues to mention.
